Emmi Lucca, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)

Emmi has 27 years of experience in healthcare with time spent in a variety of hospital settings, including ICU, CCU, ER, and Hospice Nursing. She has spent 11 years in family practice, making a name for herself at Milford Family Practice before moving to the Lake Wallenpaupack region. Now, she’s ready to provide personalized care to existing and new patients alike!

Emmi is passionate about providing each and every patient she sees with the best services possible. Emmi is intentional, attentive, and friendly with everyone who walks through her office doors. She loves what she does — and that love is evident to every patient who chooses Lakota Family Practice as their local healthcare destination.

When she’s not working, you can find Emmi enjoying Lake Wallenpaupack with her husband, Ray, whether they’re taking the boat out or walking the Lake Trail. Emmi also loves dining at local restaurants and going shopping with her friends in downtown Hawley and Honesdale.

Raymond Lucca, Office Manager

Ray plays a pivotal role behind the scenes at the office, making sure you have a wonderful experience with our practice both on the phone and when you come in for an appointment. But before Lakota, he spent decades in the military, starting at the Air National Guard at Stewart ANG Base, Newburgh, NY back in 1997 as a National Guardsman. He retired from the same base as active duty in 2018.

Ray’s career serving our country was extensive. After being deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Ray spent years in various military administrative and program coordination positions. Of his many tasks over the years, one thing remained the same — he had a heart for service members and their families. Many of his roles focused on making their lives better, coordinating fun family events and working with non-profits like Toys for Tots.

As he advanced in his military career, Ray joined the Command Staff Admin support team, where he managed all programs for the command staff offices, including physical fitness programs, training programs, OPSEC, security programs, Air Force required compliance programs, and IT-related issues. He then spent time as the administrative assistant for the Security Forces commander, where he coordinated travel arrangements and collected all necessary documentation. Many of the people he helped were police officers, firefighters, port authority, and EMS first responders from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Growing up, Ray’s father was a member of the Pine Bush, NY Fire Department until his death. This, along with his own experiences in the military, has given Ray a deep, personal connection to first responders that he maintains to this day. As such, we welcome any and all first responders, active-duty military, and retired military to our office. We look forward to treating you with the utmost of respect and admiration for what you have done and continue to do each day!

Tracy, Medical Assistant

Tracy has 14 years of experience in the medical field after graduating from Penn State and McCann’s School of Business. She has gained the majority of her experience in the realm of family practice.

As part of the Lakota family, Tracy helps provide patient care and treatment, such as assisting with examinations and organizing patients’ charts and medical history. She is passionate about providing a comfortable, safe environment for her patients where they can receive the highest quality care in the area.

When she’s not spending time with family and friends, Tracy enjoys spending time at the local library or a museum.

Jenn

Jennifer, CMA

Jennifer has three years of medical experience and was a medical receptionist for two years before receiving her certification at Lackawanna College in 2022. For Jennifer, being a medical receptionist was about more than sitting behind a desk, checking patients in and out, and answering phone calls. She loved the good feeling that came with being able to get a patient on the schedule to be seen and treated. Watching a patient leave with a smile on their face and the relief that they were taken care of simply made her feel good!

As Jennifer watched the nurses and medical staff take care of patients by taking their vitals, listening to their concerns, and helping in their treatment, she realized just how much of an impact they had on their patients as soon as they walked in the door. This made her realize that she wanted to do more, so she became a medical assistant.

One of her favorite quotes is, “They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”

When she’s not at work, you can find Jennifer spending time with her husband Eric and their five-year-old son Greyson. They enjoy going on many adventures, whether they’re going on a hike, to the beach, to an amusement park, or simply searching for salamanders or frogs in the woods. Jenn and her family also love spending time with their friends and other family members.
